The Happiest Kid!

One of the reasons we love Ben to play sports is because he always plays with the hugest smile on his face. He runs his hardest, does his very best. You can just see the joy. But this year in soccer, more than any other, I have gone to the Lord in prayers of gratitude for the experiences we are having.

This boy running with Ben smiles longer, harder and with more joy. He is never discouraged or even frustrated out there. We understand many others have been touched by his awesome spirit, but we wanted to add our tribute. Thank you for showing us what real happiness is all about! We love you !

All the boys on the team play hard and have fun. They are good sports and have a cheerful, friendly character. It has been so fun to get to know them. When any of them does something great, they go to each other to talk about it.
We are blessed with a good team, coach and group of parents. Thanks for a great season!

Jen! For some reason I never thought to click on your name {in my contacts} to see if you had a blog...but I finally did, and here you are!! Your family is growing SO fast....I've read all your posts and will welcome more any time. I'm intrigued by the letterboxing but somehow don't quite get it - did you check out the books that the recommend on their home page. What is the best and fastest {because if I can't figure it out quickly it unfortunately doesn't happen} to learn about this great activity. And darling hair cut - what a cute mom and person you are. Love you!

About Letterboxing:
All you need to do it go to Letterboxing.org, click on search for boxes, go to your city or county and find some clues. They will tell you where some boxes are hidden in your area. The idea is to find them, stamp their stamp in your logbook and stamp your stamp in their logbook! You need to come up with a family stamp and a trail name. The stamps you find will be hand carved so they are completely original to that particular box. There is actually a section in Michaels with stamp pads and carving tools if you want to carve your own family stamp. And you will need an ink pad and a logbook. I take pics at every box so I add that to our logbook. It is SO fun!
